Curtis Myers
Lead Pastor
Curtis Myers and his wife Marcia reside in Westampton, NJ and is blessed with two lovely daughters Charisse (26) and Victoria (20). Thanks to his two daughters, he is a proud former field hockey dad who enjoyed watching his girls play in high school and college. He serves as Lead Pastor of Engage Church in response to his calling to encourage & assist people in their pursuit of God’s plan for their lives. Motivated by God’s love for all people, he shares, coaches, instructs, and mentors people into the best versions of themselves. He continues to do so professionally as the Founder & President of Aspire which he started in 2003 to pursue his passion of equipping the emerging workforce through innovative career services and leadership training.
He previously served on the pioneering team of The Perfecting Church (Sewell, NJ) helping to launch and lead several core ministry areas. He also brings over 30 years of ministry service and leadership roles with Cathedral of Love (Willingboro, NJ) and Living Faith Christian Center (Pennsauken, NJ).
He is a graduate of Willingboro HS and the University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School of Business, a former football player, and high school coach. He stays connected to the game he loves through involvement with A Few Good Men (AFGM).
Ed Leak
Executive Pastor
Ed is a leader on the pioneering team of the Engage Church. He serves in multiple capacities, and his primary responsibilities include the administrative and financial operations of the organization.
He functions under the philosophy of servant leadership, with a focus on the needs and development of others. Ed thrives when he can assist people in maximizing their God-given talents and gifts. Over the past 25 years, he has served consistently in three ministries, most recently with The Perfecting Church in Sewell, NJ. He has been a leader in student and youth development, as well as men’s, music, and prison ministries.
Professionally, Ed has worked in the insurance and financial service industry for over 27 years, currently in the role of business analyst for a Fortune 50 company. He is a proud graduate of Science High School in Newark, NJ, where he was born and raised. Ed also earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rutgers University.
Ed is happily married to his lovely wife Erika, and they have three awesome daughters. He is currently a resident of Burlington County, engaged in a variety of community service and youth mentor programs.
